How series rlc resonance works

At series resonance the inductor and capacitor reactances cancel. The input impedance reaches its minimum, equal to R, and current reaches its maximum. The half-power frequencies are where the current drops to 1/√2 of that peak.

f0=12πLCf_0=\frac{1}{2\pi\sqrt{LC}}

R1 is the total series loss resistance. Ideal L and C; AC current uses peak amplitude. Q and bandwidth describe current response.
