About this circuit
Application demo for the AD813 six-pin op amp family in a closed-loop amplifier configuration.
Circuit notes
AD813 Op Amp Six-Pin Non-Inverting Amplifier
Application
This circuit demonstrates the AD813 six-pin op amp family as a closed-loop non-inverting amplifier. It uses a split supply, a clear input path, a feedback divider, and output/load probes so the amplifier behavior can be inspected directly.
Design Context
RF and RG set an ideal non-inverting gain of 2 V/V. The featured component includes a sixth family-specific terminal such as compensation, disable, reference, ground, or shutdown; the component symbol exposes that pin so users can adapt the circuit for the model's application notes.
Expected Behavior
With the input switch closed, Vout follows Vin at roughly twice the amplitude while remaining inside the supply rails. The probes show the driven input and output response on the chart.
Suggested Experiments
- Change RF or RG to adjust the closed-loop gain.
- Change the load resistor to compare output loading.
- Inspect the sixth pin and connect it according to the model notes for compensation, enable, reference, or shutdown experiments.
Featured Component
The AD813 family component is the featured six-pin op amp macro-model. Its non-inverting input, inverting feedback input, supply pins, output, and auxiliary sixth pin are all visible on the schematic symbol.
