About this circuit

Open or close two isolated contacts together to control separate 5 V and 3.3 V loaded circuits.

Circuit notes

DPST: Ganged Dual-Supply Control

Open or close two isolated contacts together to control separate 5 V and 3.3 V loaded circuits.

Try it

Click SW1 to close both poles, then click again to reopen them. The dashed line links the actuator mechanically. To try a dual pushbutton, choose Operating mode: Momentary and choose the released contact position.

Expected behavior

VA and VB start near 0 V. Closing the switch raises VA to approximately 5 V and VB to 3.3 V, with load currents of 5 mA and 3.3 mA. The two poles have no electrical connection inside the component.

How it works

The voltage probes measure the outputs relative to the common supply return. Probe colors match the chart traces. These idealized contacts change without bounce or transfer delay. Closed contacts use a small finite resistance; open contacts use a large finite resistance to keep the live simulation stable.
