About this component

A dual-coil latching relay with two isolated changeover contact sets operated together. Separate SET and RESET windings control both poles, allowing one stored relay state to switch two independent circuits. Each simulation starts reset. Simultaneous operating pulses use reset priority.

Parameters

Basic settings
6 parameters
ParameterNameDescriptionDefault

SETCOILRESISTANCE

Set coil resistance

Series resistance of the isolated SET winding.

125 Ω

SETCOILINDUCTANCE

Set coil inductance

Series inductance of the SET winding; its time constant is inductance divided by resistance.

50m H

RESETCOILRESISTANCE

Reset coil resistance

Series resistance of the isolated RESET winding.

125 Ω

RESETCOILINDUCTANCE

Reset coil inductance

Series inductance of the RESET winding; its time constant is inductance divided by resistance.

50m H

SETCURRENT

Set current

Positive SET+ to SET− current that selects NO. Must be positive.

20m A

RESETCURRENT

Reset current

Positive RESET+ to RESET− current that selects NC. Reset has priority when both windings operate. Must be positive.

20m A

ONRESISTANCE

Contact on resistance

Resistance of each selected contact path.

0.1 Ω

OFFRESISTANCE

Contact off resistance

Resistance of each open contact path. Keep greater than the on resistance.

1e9 Ω

NumberNameDescription

1

SET+

Positive terminal of the SET winding. Sufficient positive current selects NO.

2

SET−

Return terminal of the isolated SET winding.

3

RESET+

Positive terminal of the RESET winding. Sufficient positive current selects NC, with reset priority.

4

RESET−

Return terminal of the isolated RESET winding.

5

COM A

Common terminal of pole A, electrically isolated from the coils and pole B.

6

NO A

Pole A contact selected in the set state.

7

NC A

Pole A contact selected in the reset state.

8

COM B

Common terminal of pole B, electrically isolated from the coils and pole A.

9

NO B

Pole B contact selected with NO A by the shared latched state.

10

NC B

Pole B contact selected with NC A by the shared latched state.
